We’re back in person for our professional development events—come join us! Take advantage of our discounted ticket prices to celebrate being back together again.

Getting people behind your cause isn’t always easy. Luckily, Urban Green Lab—a Nashville nonprofit that helps educate and inspire sustainable strategies for organizations—has some success stories to share with us! Join us in person as Jacqueline Goodwin, Sustainable Workplaces Manager at Urban Green Lab, shares how to develop a business case for sustainability and connects us with resources that make a difference in our local community.

You’ll learn:
  • Why workplaces are a good place to start with sustainability
  • Tips for getting others to back your cause and share your same excitement
  • Resources that make a difference here locally

Our discussion will feature:

Jacqueline Goodwin is the Sustainable Workplaces Manager at local nonprofit Urban Green Lab. She manages the Urban Green Lab Certification Program, the Nashville Sustainability Roundtable, and B Tenessee, Tennessee’s association of B Corporations. She went to Dickinson College to pursue a degree in Environmental Studies and there, she grew her love for sustainability by living in the Center for Sustainable Living and interning at the Center for Sustainability Education. Jackie also studied sustainable development and urban climate adaptation abroad in Copenhagen and was one of Dickinson’s first recipients of the Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate.

Prior to her move to Nashville, Jackie worked in the nonprofit world for Ashoka and the National Building Museum in Washington D.C.
