About the Speaker: Ebony R. Lincoln

Now, she uses her expertise to help individuals develop their own personal brand delivering dynamic discussions, and providing one-on-one, tailored branding and communication consult sessions.

She’s the winner of several branding, marketing and communications awards by Public Relations Student Society of America, and a multiple award winner in the branding, marketing and communications category by UM Association of Communicators. She’s been awarded Employee of the Quarter by StateFarm Insurance several times and is the recipient of the Star Award and Team Stats Leaders by Astellas Pharmaceutical Company.

Delaney is an American Marketing Association award winner in Nashville. He has appeared in USA Today, Entrepreneur, Inc, Fortune, and Billboard Magazine.

His acclaimed book, New Business Networking, explores online and offline tools, tips, and techniques to grow and nurture your professional network for your business and career by communicating – the nice way.

Dave was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He took a trip to Ireland and ended up living with Irish twins in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s a long story, he will happily share.

Michael Deas, ABC, SCMP, has filled a number of diverse roles over his 36-year career: editor, missionary, translator, marketing manager, corporate communications manager, and communications director. Currently, Mike is Marketing Manager for the Lee Company, a $300-million home and facility services firm in Franklin, Tennessee.

Mike has been a member of IABC for 24 years, a chapter president of IABC South Carolina, an Accredited Business Communicator since 2004, and a Strategic Communication Management Professional since 2018. In 2020 Mike served on the board of IABC Nashville and was named IABC Nashville’s “Communicator of the Year.” He has been recognized 15 times with awards for excellence in communication.

His wide range of experience in both internal and external communication roles–for companies large and small, public and private, for-profit and nonprofit, on both sides of the Atlantic, in two languages–equips him with insight into the challenges facing today’s communicators.
